Fairly Educated is a not for profit initiative that aims to unite university Fair Trade movements across the globe. Fairly Educated is a platform for tertiary Fair Trade campaigns all around the world to share their resources and experiences in order to further the Fair trade movement.

Fairly Educated is here to assist those of you who are in the process of seeking justice by promoting Fair Trade as well as providing resources and ideas for those of you who are thinking about beginning.

On the website you will find information about our annual Conferences. The inaugural conference was held in Sydney, Australia in 2011 and was attended by representatives from around half of the universities in Australia and New Zealand. The 2012 conference will by held in July in Melbourne, Australia, hosted by the Melbourne Universities Consortium. See the tab above for more information.

You will also find a link to the Resources site above. This is a collection of flyers, photos, event ideas, official documents and more that various universities have used in order to campaign for Fair Trade Accreditation.

There is also a tab with Endorsements of Fairly Educated from a variety of people including Tim Costello of World Vision and Hugh Evans of the Global Poverty Project.

Shortly we hope to have a blog up and running. In the mean time stay up to date with Fairly Educated and other Fair Trade news at our Facebook group
